1500 square feet Urban Duplex Project
The design started with volumes. By applying the delimitative wall systems into the volumes, spatial and functional problems were solved through the design process.
This is the project I designed for studio 318, when I was studying architecture in Washington University in St. Louis. This project was been collected by Washington University for school accreditation. Studio professor of 318 was Sungho Kim.
Date: Spring 2016.
Based on the square footage requirement and the urban views of this project, two set of volumes design ideas were provided in the first week of the design process.
