The 10*10 Box
The design story: My grandma on my father side passed away in September, a month after I flew to America to pursue the life career of being an architect. And ex-girlfriend dumped me over the phone two days right after my birthday. Year 2014, I have been through a rough time, facing the challenge of living and studying by myself in a different country and been emotionally challenged by unexpected life events. I went through all the darkness with no lights on and stand on my own feet to finally become a man who can live fearlessly to the life ahead. I poured all my sadness and hurts into this design, I made an abstracted black box, broken but elegant.
